Knitted Scarf
First, I knitted a scarf for my daughter. It was so much fun that I decided to make one for myself as well. My daughter helped me choose the yarn — and I completely fell in love with the same one she picked.
I knitted this scarf in garter stitch only, just like hers. It’s such a relaxing way to knit — simple, meditative, and perfect for cozy evenings. I’m definitely going to keep knitting; there have already been a few more projects on my needles ๐

๐งถ How I Knitted My Scarf
I cast on 30 stitches using a yarn called Leonore and size 5 needles. The yarn is a soft blend of 70% acrylic and 30% wool, and I love how it creates gentle, shifting colors as you knit.
From there, it’s wonderfully simple — just keep knitting in garter stitch until the scarf feels long enough for you. That’s one of the things I enjoy most about this kind of project: no counting, no complicated patterns, just calm, repetitive stitches and quiet moments.
